WW1 - Raging Empires - Troop Classes

Post by von Klinkerhoffen »

Hi

You have made available suggested unit compositions for 1914 on your website, which is much appreciated.

When will you release details of the different troop classes for each nation and their 'breaking points'?

I appreciate that 'breaking points' will be subjective and scenario driven, but feel there should be a standard one for each nation/unit for people to work from?

Also appreciate that you're probably busy. ;)

Hi,

Yes, I agree that there needs to be a 'standard' break point allocated to units which reflect their characteristics and historical performance. This would then provide a datum for variation as required for each scenario. I have already drafted an incremental mechanism for this which I will be discussing with James Clark next week when we will be working through a number of suggestions and ideas. We will play test this 'morale breaking point through stand loss' system to see how well it plays in a few game scenarios.
Kind regards
Paul
