Hello Everybody,
Thanks for the reply - the tree bases sold on the Kallistra website might be useful for other manufacturers trees as well.
I have attached some pictures of my memoir 44 set up in the snow.
Best wishes

Re: Modelling castles
Hello Sally
Thank you for showing us your castles assembled and painted. I have also brushed my castle with ink using the citadel range of paints for Warhammer miniatures. I have painted the turrets in a different shade of grey. Picture attached.

Wallpaper Background Strip for Hordes and Heroes and WW1
Hello Everybody, I have been reading the rules to Hordes and Heroes Medieval and Fantasy which really fascinates me. Paul and Sally have done a really great job in particular the Siege and Assault supplement gives some good insights into EPIC battles (my last post) and campaign play. This post is to...

What is the most EPIC game of Kallistra you have ever seen?
Hello Everybody, Many of you will have seen or heard of "command and colours" EPIC type battles - overlord, break through, even extended break through, break-lord format etc for board games like Battlelore, Memoir44, Ancients, Napoleonic's, Battles of Westeros (Not CC) But what is the most...

Re: Winter Wars - The White Kallistra Project
Hello everybody, Thanks for the reply. I think getting some winter trees is a good idea. I have seen a big bag of winter trees i.e. the snow has already been added for model railway in OO and N scale. For these it is likely I would need to use some sort of putty for the bases, I'm not sure how well ...

Winter Wars - The White Kallistra Project
Hello Everybody Thanks for your post. I thought I would do another post to show you how my "Winter War" project on the Eastern front is going. I now kindly have roads from Kallistra and also have been painting some of my hills white. Working with acrylic paint is fun as it drys fairly quic...

White Kallistra for battles in the snow
Hello Everybody,
I have been busy painting some of my kallistra boards white for battles on the eastern front in the snow. In the pictures we are playing Tide of Iron with plastic soldier company tanks and using the T of I infantry as these pieces are customisable.
Best wishes

Re: Memoir44
Hello Norm Thank you for your post and alternative to divide the board. You are correct in saying that memoir44 can be played by a group of people - ideally 8 but 4 and 6 can work as well. If there are 8 people there is an overall commander who chooses which cards are played and hands them to his th...

Re: Memoir44
Hi Gabz To divide the board into three sections I use "roads" from a game called "settlers of catan". These can be purchased on their own from an online supplier called "Board Game Extras". They are just small sticks really - lots of colours available. Best wishes Graham
