Re: bespoke items

Hi Colingee,
Re: 200mm Hexon. The 100mm or 4 inch across flats size for Hexon has become the standard size for hex based miniature gaming. We could produce different sizes, but the tooling costs would be massive and there has been little or no demand for alternative sizes from our customers.

Re: bespoke items

Hi Graham, The new road intersection pack is already available on our website and is just awaiting photos. Each pack contains 2 left-hand forks, 2 right - hand forks, 2 crossroads plus a 3 and 4 way intersection - 8 pieces in all, available flocked and unflocked. The photos will be added very soon. ...

Hi,
I would just like to endorse Danes suggestion of the Romano Brits to be used to represent the riders of Rohan - they look great when painted with mid to dark green 'uniforms'.

Re: WWI

Hi Kenneth, For the Brits I use Vallejo 70.921 English Uniform as a base uniform colour over a light spray matt black primer. I then highlight or dry brush with Miniature paints 87 khaki. For the webbing I use a 50/50 mixture of the same khaki and Miniature paints 62 sand. A slight variation in unif...

Re: Using Kallistra for "The Great War" board game

Hi Graham, A great looking layout. The barbed wire pieces that we use are scratch built using a thin plywood base, aluminium wire, dark wood filler and noch 50210 flock. The thin aluminium wire is coiled tightly around a pencil then removed and stretched. The bases are 20 x 80mm aeroply and the upri...

Re: Tigers in the Snow - Memoir 44

Hi Graham, very impressive snow scene. I like the way that you have used the single hills to create a more undulating snow scape!

Re: Desert v Desert Transition

Hi, The desert and desert transition boards are all the same base colour of flock, all from the same batch. The desert transition boards have Noch 50210 green flock areas added. The reason that the colour appears different in various photos is purely due to different lighting conditions. The desert ...

Re: More ACW rules queries

Hi Tede, The written text of the rules would answer and clarify the points that you have raised - the play sheets are for use during play. We are still adjusting and refining the system through play testing and feedback from gamers, and therefore the written text is still currently unfinished. The f...

Re: ACW/AWI Hex rules

Hi Yorky, We have play sheets for both ACW and AWI rules which we have been play testing for a while now. The written text for the AWI and ACW still only exist in draft form but we can e-mail you the play sheets for both. We are currently working on the 2015 update for the Hordes and Heroes Medieval...
