10mm Sci-Forces armies on hexes

My Marine and Alien Pendraken armies cost just £14 each and importantly were ready for the table really quickly. Here are some construction and action shots with some general observations about the figures. Link - http://battlefieldswarriors.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/building-sci-fi-forces-in-10mm.html

Re: Wargames in small spaces - Tiger Leader

The buildings are by laser craft, which I think Lancashire Games stock. I saw a painted set on their display and they looked really compact - suitable for Hexon. Here is a link to the company page.

Re: Wargames in small spaces - Tiger Leader

Your Kallistra boards look more vibrant than the surprisingly muted board that comes with the game. I hadn't realised it had so many vehicles on the board at any one time. I was at a wargame show today and Lancashire Games are selling MDF buildings that would work well for African buildings in the h...

Re: Gettysburg - Battlecry

I am presently painting both Confederate and Union Kallistra army packs and agree that 4 bases would look good, but that two bases side by side would look more realistic and then just use casualty markers. Years ago, I did a day one scenario for hexes based on McPhersons Ridge. As soon as I get some...

Re: Hello from ME

Hi, looking forward to seeing your table. There is a magazine game due out any day now (Strategy and Tactics by decision games). The hex and counter game covers the three 1066 battles, but uses the old 'Medievals Battles' system. I have not used that system before, but it might be something to conta...

Free campaign engine - yartzevo defiant

his has been on the table for many months while I play tested a series of campaign games for the Tigers at Minsk rules. I think the campaign engine is ready now and is available as a free download. Though hex based, It could be used with minor changes to other systems and some boardgames (swap out t...

Assault on Suetovo

The Yartzevo campaign continues with a tense action at Suetovo - is this the end of the campaign?

Re: Trying to get the right wash

I was in a Games Workshop outlet today and the staff member suggested their inks mixed on a 1:1 ratio with their flow improver. I bought an ink to try it with my own flow improver, but that does sound like a lot of flow improver in that ratio - but I am happy to try anything to get nearer to a lazy ...
