Re: Vittoria

Super pictures of a great looking game. The smaller 6mm (I presume) scale works really well and I love the massive number of figures you can field. The level of painting detail of the miniatures and banners is stunning and it must be quite a spectacle to see it in it's full glory. Many thanks for po...

Re: HHM Romano British V Norman

Enjoyed that. Many thanks for posting. It did make me smile when, even after formulating a cunning plan between the Romano British commanders, one decided to go maverick and launch his own plan- probably with the bold statement of "What can possibly go wrong?" Sounded like a lucky win at t...

Re: Teutonic Order v WOTR Tudor

Really enjoyed, many thanks for posting. When seeing the initial army lists, I thought the Tudor longbows would prove too much for the Teutonic army. The battle showed the greater mobility of the Teuton missile troops proved very effective at forcing the longbows to shrink their flanks, and severely...

Re: Battle of Fox's Gap 1862

Great report. Another great scenario. Do you playtest any first to check for balance, or just launch into the fray?
Best wishes

Re: The Battle of the Watch Towers- Orcs versus High Elves

Thanks for the comments, Norm. Bright lighting is key to show different heights (Not that I'm an expert though, but I do have to, in the words of Peter Kay, put the "big" light on). I also use the different flock effects on the hexes for differentiating height, too. I use the plain flock f...

Re: Medieval Korean v Samurai

Another great report. Many thanks for a good read. I always like the number of players on each side. Do ypu allocate units to each player, and how much advice can you give to each other during play?
Best wishes

Re: A 6x6 grid game, WWII East Front

Great report again! I love the terrain you use- obviously alot of time and effort plainly goes into it. The games you create on the smaller grids are superb, well done!

Re: The Battle of the Watch Towers- Orcs versus High Elves

Turn 6 witnessed the last stand of the elves, The orcs attacked with all units available. The last desperate volleys of arrows drove both units of giants back, but it was to no avail. The last few stands of elves needed to break their army fell, and the survivors fled. DSCF7563.JPG DSCF7570.JPG DSCF...
