What happens when 4 experienced H&H players, 2 each side, fight it out with identical armies?

We had a club meeting at the beginning of the club night, so I brought one of the 2 games from the previous week used for ‘training’ games. The meeting was concluded in little over 30 minutes and so, 4 of us decided to quickly spread the terrain and pitted 2 identical armies against each other; Tony...

Re: Ancients Range

Hi, Hordes & Heroes ancients was a response to persistent pressure from customers and in many ways is the natural progression back in time from the medieval ranges. The response to the initial release of 30 blisters -15 Imperial Roman and 15 Celts, has been very positive and I've had to schedule in ...

Re: Hexon Flock Colour

Although we don't stock 'snow flock' it can be obtained fro a range of manufactures including Woodland ...

Re: Hexon Flock Colour

Hi, Yes the Hexon range of boards and terrain features is all flocked using Noch 50210 'Spring Meadow' which is easily obtainable from ourselves as well as a good number of hobby/modelling shops and on-line retailers. I use this flock for my figure bases on top of 'Wilko' dark wood filler. We don't ...

This game pitted 2 WOTR armies with very different compositions against each other. The Yorkist army contained 8 units of mounted men at arms against the Tudor 5, and had 12 units of retinue longbow against the Tudor 8. H&HM Cavalry engagement: Mongol v Hungarian/Teutonic Order

In this scenario we wanted to create a cavalry on cavalry encounter in reference to the first part of the battle of Mohi 1241, and other smaller Mongol v Hungarian encounters which took place on the central Hungarian plane. To more accurately represent the open terrain on the Hexon layout, Andre, ou...

H&H M Saxons v Normans (Round 2)

In this scenario the army compositions were the same as the previous game, but the terrain layout was very different. A non-playing club member presented the 4 players with a layout dominated by central woodland areas. Chris and I had command of the Normans and Dave and Tony the Saxons. IMG_3507.JPG...
