Gettysburg hexed!

My One Flag-Two Nations hex based rules have been updated (Aug 2018) to match the changes that I have been making to the non-hexed set. I have put a blog post up that discusses two of the changes and used an AAR of the McPherson’s Ridge scenario to example the impact of the changes. the hexes and 12...

Sunken Road ACW 1862

I am about to play a Pickett’s Charge scenario by Dave Brown. I have blogged a short video clip that shows the battle terrain and opening positions of the two forces, which are Kallistra 12mm, 2 bases per regiment for a frontage of 80mm. A very dynamic game. The Skype thing really adds a new dimension to gaming.

ACW - boardgame conversion to tabletop

The blog says it all, but this is the first of three figures games falling out of a situation created in a boardgame. Kallistra 12mm ACW figures in use.

1066 - Not Hastings!

a mix of tongue-in-cheek narrative and AAR from the 1066 period, that looks a bit cheekily like Hastings, with 12mm Kallistra figures, played out on a large pinboard. The game was mostly run using my Invasion 1066 rules, with tweaks to make it work with just a few units. Link http://battlefieldswarr...
