Battle for Marchais-en-Brie

Post by monk2002uk »

There is an AAR for this scenario here. The original battle was part of the First Battle of the Marne in September 1914. The table features Hexon terrain, which provided an accurate representation of the contours in this area. It really helped in understanding why the original battle played out as it did. The hexes are covered with a terrain cloth.

Thank you, Andrea. I see you used a translation tool. What is your first language?

I'm Italian and I live in Tuscany in the midst of fine wines.
The Italian is my first and only language. I'm too lazy to learn other.
However among wargame fans it is always a way to speak.
Greetings and good game.

I love Tuscany. Thank you for making the effort in English. Grazie.

In October 2017, we will replay a game of the Battle of Pozzuolo del Friuli. Many English-speaking readers will not be familiar with this famous battle that involved a heroic stand by Italian cavalry. Here is one of many paintings:

Many Italians are not familiar with this battle, too.
I hope to see the battle report.
(There is already a battle report?)
