Now that is really both nice and clever. I have just bought the (pre-flocked) 2 hex river system so can visualise that exactly, plus Last Valley that does 28mm terrain at UK wargame shows has a very similar way of showing wadi on non-hex terrain, so I can imagine how good yours looks.
