Re: 6mm Star Wars and Hexon
What a great set up. The title says 6mm, but are some of those vehicles such as the ATS from the new Star wars sets?

Tactical WWII on a Kursk battlefield
I have added a tank only scenario for the Tigers at Minsk hex based rules.
The set-up includes randomly placed terrain on a 12 x 9 hex grid.

Re: H&HM Norman v Saxon (Round 2)
Thanks Paul, I need to get off my butt and get mine painted! I am a bit stuck in deciding whether to stick with standard basing or whether to go with large base 80mm frontages. I have done a few and like them, but they can look a bit 'strange' balancing on hills!

Discussion thread on WWII rules
A gamer has opened up a thread at Board Game Geek to discuss the rules, in particular in moving the system to a larger table and loosening the recovery from Op. Fire marked status. It has all of the ingredients to become an interesting thread (for me at least). Here is a link to my blog, which some ...

Re: Napoleonic Naval: British v Spanish 2
The perfect game for hexes and a nice sized action. Perhaps at the end of the game, there needs to be a single end of game sub-phase that determines whether ships go on to burn and actually sink, or whether their fires can be brought under control, with the extent of damage (the number of turns burn...

Re: Hex based Napoleonic naval scenario (1200 scale)
Very nice, I keep promising myself to do some Age of Sail stuff. The hex tiles have been given a oceanic effect.

If I remember correctly, the last time these two armies met, it was woodland that helped decide the issue.
The 4 base units look good when the clash gets going - a visual feast.

Re: WWII Armour/infantry scenario
Interesting to see the conversion, I'm really surprised that we don't see more conversion efforts and as this replay shows, blast effects radius are ideally suited to being thought of in terms of hexes. I really like what the group have done with this terrain, can you tempt one of them to post here ...
