Hi, Still unsure of the difference between the response moves evade and flee. In the rules it states that the player can elect to use these when contacted by the enemy. Hi Gabz, I'm not sure about that one, any modifiers over one might make it just too hard for C class troops- although looking at the quality of archers across the armies the roll needed to hit varies and does not always follow that A class archers are better at shooting than B or even C class Englis...

As a further idea to point 7 raised above, concerning missile troops turning before firing. Perhaps shooters fire out of the front facing, as described for artillery fire arcs. If they need to turn to fire then they can do so but a +1 to hit penalty is applied eg Archers hitting on a 7+ now need 8+ ...
