Re: Ottoman Turks v Samurai!

Many thanks for posting. Another great report. When placing terrain, does the neutral third party have choice over what and how much is placed, or just options on placement of specified pieces?
Best wishes

Re: Battle of Bosworth

What an epic! Even with the bigger table, the massed ranks looked truely great. Pivotal battles such as this always throw up so many "What if's..." and provide intriguing possibilities for gaming
Many thanks

Re: Mongols v Feudal English Round 2

Hurrah for good old Blighty!
Great game, the English archers held well this game. I think the terrain helped, but the English formation seemed to hold up well to the concerted cavalry assault,
Thanks for posting.

Re: Mongols v Feudal English!

Great report. Many thanks for posting. I've found light cavalry extremely effective troops, and very hard to defend against from a staic infantry position. The speed of movement and ability to flee or evade make them very hard to pin down. Let me know if you find any ways to counteract them so I can...

Re: Battle of the Three Way - Samurai v Samurai

Great report- the new samurai look great! It was interesting to read a battle report between 2 armies chosen from the same army list- even though the makeup of each army was quite different. Great stuff,
Many thanks and a Happy New Year

Re: Orcs versus Barbarians- Battle of Holden Pass

The next battle in this sequence is now on the forum "The Battle of Long Ridge". This details the advance of the orcs along the ridge and their move into High elf territory. The orcs are heading for Caerfen, scene of a great defeat at the hands of the high elves (see the Battle of Caerfen&...

Re: The Battle of Long Ridge- Orcs versus High Elves

DSCF5960.JPG A tally of the casualties at the end of this round was made. The orcs were 4 stands away from breaking, the elves only 2. Mark's turn was next. The battle was perfectly poised... a knife's edge between victory or defeat. Mark scoured the battle for anything that could give him those cr...

Re: The Battle of Long Ridge- Orcs versus High Elves

At the start of my turn, it was obvious that the battle was soon to end. The casualties on both sides had been very heavy, and there were barely any cohesive forces left. I opened my turn by sending my units on the ridge to repel the elven attack that had just crested the ridgeline from the river. I...
