Oil / gas storage towers
Quick plonk down scenic. The towers are each built from 6 floor protectors (shown in picture 1) plus a cork protector on top and then 'runners' are just cut down section of plastic rod bought from a model shop. The hex tile is a blank template from Kallistra. Ignore the cycle caps, they will become ...

Re: Rail station
Thanks Paul, the way I have gone about it is to create a few scenic tiles like the one above and then have rail sections (2 hexes long) in thin strips that form the main part of the track. To make sure they mate up with the scenic tile, the rail sections are on balsa wood, while the track on the sce...

Rail station
This is a drop in tile to mate up with some 'N' gauge track that I bought.
The shots shows the signal box being fixed to the hex tile and the tile 'dressed' with track and a pile of stone chippings.

Re: Warband - Early Medieval / Dark Ages large skirmish rule
Thanks for making these available for free. They look very interesting and are well presented. I would quite like to paint up two small medieval armies in 28mm and give them a whirl. I am fortunate enough to have a regular gaming opponent for face to face play, which card driven games need.

Re: Warband hex rule set
Thanks for the link. An interesting set and nicely presented. Looks very good for a face to face game, though the card play limits solitaire play.

Re: Edging pieces to square of boards
From memory, Kallistra do them, but they are made on demand, it may well be that it is a single tile simply cut in half.

Free WWII hex based rules
As per recent posts, I have been working on a WWII tactical rule set for figure / hex games played within a small area of around just 2' x 3'. I have now posted the rules plus scenarios, examples of play and video support. The games have been developed with Pendraken 10mm forces and kallistra 4"...
