Re: Samurai Army 300 pts.
Hi Dane, Good choice of army. The giant option sounds good with their excellent attack power. The dragons are tricky, although with their high movement rate they are a good reserve unit to throw in where needed or pushed to the opposing players flanks to lurk ominously would also be a good use. I no...

Re: Samurai v Teutonic Knights
Sounds like a great idea. I'll have to try to put on a report as well.

Re: The perfect orc army?
I need to try this as I am often guilty of hurling my generals far too early into the fray and suddenly finding I've lost control of sections of my army due to generals being destroyed or caught up with disrupted units. Have you played any of the fantasy armies or just medieval?

Re: The perfect orc army?
Yep, hero generals do add resilience and clout to units. Would you place the hero general in the front line units or tucked in the hex behind to still influence the front units but not be directly exposed to immediate attack?

Re: Samurai v Teutonic Knights
Great report. Was the teutonic army selection tweaked between battles or the same list kept in the hope of victory?

Thanks for the battle report. It's much appreciated to see a close fought battle with great looking armies.

Re: The perfect orc army?
Thanks for the reply, Dane Wow! 10,000 points of orcs! I thought I was doing well with around 4000. I agree with the idea of creating 6 stand horde blocks. The fast movement of the orc infantry- even the tougher ones- seems to be a key strength as they can get to grips with the enemy without having ...

The perfect orc army?
Hi all, I'm looking into selecting a new orc horde  to start playing the Hordes and Heroes fantasy rules and was wondering what other players thoughts on army selection are. I played orc and goblin armies in Warmaster for years and always favoured the massed infantry approach. Now this was ...

Disruption and other questions in HH medieval/ Fantasy
Hi, Just a few questions regarding disruption: 1. If a disrupted unit is forced to recoil into a hex containing an unattached general, is the general now considered attached to the disrupted unit, or can he remain in the hex and be considered unattached, or can they make way to an adjacent hex witho...

Re: Siege and Assault rules question
Hi, As far as I can see your latter assumption is correct. Scaling ladders are effectively blocked by a defending stand on the rampart directly above. You need to force the defender to draw troops to counter another threat in order to clear the wall. Scaling ladders are only a means to access the wa...
