Re: Using Kallistra for "The Great War" board game
Hi, I have been considering putting two "The Great War" boards side by side - although I think it was intended that "The Great War" boards run two deep? For a double scenario - two boards side by side, all that it would take is for the trench lines to meet up in the middle of two...

Re: Using Kallistra for "The Great War" board game
Hi Dane
The little blocks in no mans land are Memoir 44 barbed wire pieces. I have seen some nice barbed wire models in the "Raging Empires" 1914 draft catalogue but I don't know how they are made or where to get them from?
Best wishes
Graham

Re: Tigers in the Snow - Memoir 44
Hi Dane There is texture on the tree underlays - I overpainted the green flocked ones - they did absorb some of the paint though covered ok. Also the river hexes were flocked ones originally before I painted them white and blue mixed with white so they also have texture. The hexon II boards themselv...

Re: Wargames in small spaces - Tiger Leader
Hi Norm Thanks for the post. The battle in the picture is the Germans fighting one of the largest battalion cards in the battalion deck called "large armour force". Although most battalions in the deck are comprised of quite a few units. The hexes in Tiger Leader are combined into "4 ...

Re: Wargames in small spaces - Tiger Leader
Hi folks Today I am posting some pictures of my first game of Tiger Leader. I am using green flocked Kallistra for a European Theatre game and quite a lot of minis from the equipment pack (Memoir 44) and a pz4 and pz3 from T of I as well as lego trees. I find this does actually get me into the mood ...

Wargames in small spaces - Tiger Leader
Hi folks Today I have pre-ordered a copy of Tiger Leader due to be in the shops next Tuesday 16th June. Tiger leader is a WWII war game that plays solo or possibly with others as a coop. I am wondering whether adding miniatures and scenery to this game adds any value to game play. My thoughts on the...
