First battle of new Hexon table

Hi, we created a simple scenario, with a German mixed force counter-attacking against recently lost ground, occupied by a British defence. The Germans employed two tank companies [one of Panthers, one of Panzer IVs, an aufklarungs company, a reduced assault pioneer battalion, and two grenadier batta...

Re: New setup

The latest pics from our first game on the new setup. The observant will notice the appearance of a river halfway through :-) We have already found some clear advantages of using hexes over our former 200mm squares, and the transition should go smoothly, although there will be difficulties with arti...

What's next?

The range of products will undoubtedly expand, so would one of our kallistra admins care to let us know what we can expect in the future? Thanks.

Re: New setup

My oppo picked up ten boxes of flocked, and three boxes of unflocked, from colours at Newbury. Hot from there, the hexon arrived today. We finished the table, putting a lip on to frame the hexon boards. We had six boxes of three colour and four boxes of triple seven. Once they were in place, a large...

New setup

Greetings, as age has taken hold of my ability to get up and down from our huge floor area, my oppo and I have moved to a table top wargame, and from 200mm x 200mm squares to Kallistra hexons. I will post some pics as we go along, building up our surface with Kallistra stock items as well as bespoke...
